Kika Téllez

Kika Téllez was born and brought up in Barcelona. She has been taking photos and working in the creative field for the last twenty odd years.

 

At the age of twenty two she moved to Prague smitten by the post communist euphoria which was contagious for everyone  from all over the world. She worked in an interior design studio and took photographs which were applied as part of the design in different formats, as objects or images on their own.

After ten years in Prague she moved back to sunny Cabo de Gata in Andalusia, where she worked for an European Agency whose aim was to document and publish the local culture and heritage. During a couple of  years she worked as the official photographer of the Tarifa African Film Festival.

Nowadays she lives in Barcelona and runs photographic tours of her city. This gives her the opportunity to share her love for her own city and the curiosity of meeting new people from all over the world.
